Certified Athletic Trainers
Northside Hospital-Gwinnett in partnership with Source Atlanta provides certified athletic trainers to Mill Creek Creek High School. These ATC’s work under the direction of affiliated physicians to provide sports medicine care and services to all Mill Creek High School athletes.
If your child has an injury on or off the field, your athletic trainer is here to help prevent, manage and assess orthopedic/musculoskeletal injuries and facilitate access to appropriate medical care.

Ms. Ashley Gill
Originally from Blue Ridge, Georgia. Ashley graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. During her time in the undergraduate program at UNG, Ashley worked with several local high school programs along with North Georgia’s Baseball and Cross Country teams.
Ashley began serving as Athletic Trainer at Mill Creek High School in 2016. She is ImPACT trained and began teaching Healthcare Science at Mill Creek in 2018 as well.
Ms. Kelley Mote
Originally from Blue Ridge, Georgia, Kelley graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While at UNG she worked with Women’s Soccer & several area high schools. After graduation, Kelley worked as a Graduate Assistant at UNG working primarily with the CARE Consortium Concussion Research. She worked as the Head Athletic Trainer at Union County High School for 4 years before joining Northside Hospital & Mill Creek in 2021.
