About Us
Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)- where we learn, lead, and serve.
HOSA is a national student organization endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and the Health Science Education Division of ACTE. HOSA's two-fold mission is to promote career opportunities in the health care industry and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA provide the opportunity to secondary, post-secondary, adult, and collegiate students enrolled in HSE programs. HOSA creates driven, determined student leaders that are excited about healthcare and all that HOSA has to offer.
HOSA operates as an integral component of the health science education curriculum. Through its network of state and local chapters, HOSA provides powerful instructional tools, recognition, leadership, networking, scholarships, and connections to the healthcare industry to thousands of members across the United States. The mission of HOSA is to enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality health care by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the health care community.
Registration: Register by coming to the first meeting on August 27, 2027 and pay dues on MyPaymentsPlus before September 4th. Dues will include national membership, t-shirt, and senior cords.
Senior Cord Requirements: 80% meeting attendance, 4 projects, 2 fundraisers, 3 conferences (including 2 SLCs), and a resume.
