iLead Freshman Mentor Program
About Us
iLEAD is a service and mentor club program that fosters positive relationships with freshmen to help them make a successful transition to high school.
Mission:
iLead students will use their presentation, communication, leadership, and organizational skills to promote unity, positive behavior, and build character for incoming freshmen students.
Meetings
Meetings are held 3 times a semester during the Homeroom period, unless otherwise communicated to members.

Requirements/Admission

Requires a year-long commitment of leading activities/lessons once a week in a freshman homeroom. (1 day a week you will be excused from your homeroom and be assigned a freshman homeroom along with other iLead members. In the freshmen class, you will be assigned 4-6 students that you will mentor for the year.)

Up to 10 service hours can be earned per semester.

Service cords can be earned by Seniors who have at least 2 years involvement in the club (one year must be their Senior year).

Application for admission to this club opens in April each year, with members notified by May of acceptance into the club. Mentor training usually occurs during teacher pre-planning week (the week before school starts). It is highly recommended to attend training each year to practice skills related to fostering mentoring relationships and meet new mentors.
